What happens in a session?
That’s up to you.
You might come with something specific you want to explore more: an issue, a question, a feeling. Or you might come not knowing exactly why or what you want to talk about. Together we can figure it out…or not. Sometimes just sitting with a companion in unknowing can be healing.
I will listen and ask open ended questions so that we can explore what is on your mind and heart and wonder together what it all means. I will hold you as an equal partner in the exploration process. I might share ideas, but I hold no agenda for you. What I might offer is for you to hear and test against your hard-won experience. To me, you are not a problem to be fixed.
You hold inner wisdom that we will draw on. You have experiences and life-learnings that are valuable and important. As we talk, I will hold the ideas and truth you trust me with gently and confidently.
You set your own agenda. You want and deserve to be heard, and my role is to listen and wonder with you. We know life’s unfolding does not offer easy or quick answers. We will trust the slow work of discovery in this space and at your speed.
What we do in a session is up to you. We talk. We honor moments of silence. We could share and reflect on a poem or a reading. You might even choose art as a way to reflect on an experience.
The time is yours to shape.
If you are exploring the possibility of spiritual companionship, I offer potential clients an initial, free 20-minute conversation via phone or Zoom to ask questions.
We meet in my home office or on Zoom. In-person is often preferable as it offers the opportunity for personal connection, not mediated or limited by screens, lighting or WIFI irregularities. Nevertheless, distance might make Zoom the way to go. Either works.
We meet every month. When needed we can meet more often.
Sessions last 50 minutes.
Each session is $100. I offer new clients a package of $250 for the first three sessions. And if you need, we will find the right level for you.
I accept payment by check, Zelle, and Venmo.
